Each issue of The Lowbrow Reader is an occasion. Making you think deeply about comedy that you've perhaps never considered thinking about at all, the essays within are often a revelation.
In addition to its revelatory essays and some excellent humor pieces (like blueprints for a Rodney Dangerfield museum), this issue also has some silly poems by punk legend Richard Hell and a comic by Dave Eggers of McSweeney's fame. Plus it's the only zine with killer Robert Caro jokes.
