Out this week! Yaara Valey's first release in four years, 'our liberation is' marks her most intentional and focused album yet. Informed by her solo and collaborative sound-bath series, imagined as a single long-form piece, and comprised largely of vocal layers, the album is more minimal and ethereal than any of her previous work. As always, though, Yaara plays with expectations, and her inimitable approach resonates throughout the album's seven movements.
