Corespondents Ur $10.00

Seattle’s Corespondents are a whirlwind. Three superb musicians who span the musical map- from western swing to Bollywood steel and a good many things in between. They have a magical quality of appealing to just about everybody without fitting nicely into a style, often being pretty weird, and not having a singer.

This album is the perfect album for a good many situations- dinner parties, acid trips, movie sequences, road trips, and the like.

Corespondents- Demon Mustache

One of the best indie-folk albums of the past decade. From old folk-style ballads to drum-machine cowgirl tales, this album has such good variety, but is completely cohesive. As if Ms. Antipa’s voice and talent wasn’t enough, this album also features guest musicianship by some of our favorites: Olie Eshelman (Corespondents), Shenandoah Davis (Grand Hallway), plus a fabulous duet with Jordan O’Jordan (Polka Dot Dot Dot).

Christina Antipa- Beautiful Place

Christina Antipa never fails to make music that is absolutely stunning. Her songs have a stop-you-in-your-tracks kind of weight that doesn’t come along very often and it makes you wonder why she is not a household name. This album is comprised of 10 songs that never made it onto any of her albums; compilation tracks, beautifully fragile home 4-track recordings, even a surprising cover song.

This edition is limited to 50 copies, hand assembled into little white envelopes, with a vellum insert, and hand-stamped discs. A must for fans and those who like to have something special and limited.

Christina Antipa- Thunderstruck

Breakcore and 8-Bit/Chiptune artists team up to make a compilation that raves as much as it destroys. An all-star cast of Mochipet, TheH8rs, Foxdye, Selector Catalogue, Graz, and Shitmat bring you the banginest, bestest, core-iest 12” ever. A collaboration between two of Portland's best electronic labels: Fukdup and Reactionary Records.

Foxdye- Tacompton MDMA Booty Bang (Excited Mix)

Last copy + sale due to minor shelf wear! “Many people may have initially sought them out on the merits of their previous bands (Jawbreaker, Latterman), but there is no denying that their catalog of songs stands on its own in both originality and quality. As for this particular slab of wax, if you havent been paying attention, and I'm sure most people know, therere some pretty hard times ahead and this LP is playing over the house speakers of the collapse. Highly conceptual while still being poppy and rocking; its hard for a band to go out on a higher note.” - Daryl Gussin, Razorcake

Shorebirds- Gotta Get the Gist

Breakcore’s Shitmat and Ladyscraper remix grunge music and put it in flannel. Totally. Awesome. Released on Portland’s Fukdup Records and sewn together by the Disrepair Clothing Project.

Temporary Sale! + Last Two Copies!

Portland, Oregon’s The Ocean Floor always astounds me. Singer Lane Barrington (Hosannas, Machinedrum) has a voice like no other, the jazzy structures are something you don’t hear much in indie folk, and the songs are written more like playful vignettes than any kind of typical verse-chorus-verse or story-song arrangement.

The album comes on beautiful moldavite-colored vinyl and features gorgeous art from children’s book artist/cartoonist Johanna Wright.

The Ocean Floor- Whats On?

Eleanor Murray and Pamela Margon combine to play to make 9 gorgeous songs of old time folk fiddle goodness. Five originals and four traditionals, all recorded by Mr. Pat Maley (Yoyo Records, Yoyo a Gogo). Perfect music for a good many occasions.

Tattered Dress- Green Pea

A classic of the Jordan O'Jordan catalog. Molecular love songs. Banjo ballads. Group sing-alongs. Pure genius.

Available on LP and CD.

LP on blue vinyl. Comes with lyric sheet.

Jordan O'Jordan- Little Finger

Sale + last copy! This album has such amazing energy. Like a way weirder version of Good Luck's Into Lake Griffy. Tight, technical, catchy. Hand silk-screened covers.
